Modern Day prejudice:
In this article a student is forced to question if discrimination has actually gone down throughout the years, or it is really a factor in everyday life today. She continues to explain about her current feelings of the situation as well as to the realization that is a modern victim of its effects today. After being rejected by her peers for her religion,she is forced to decide the importance of group acceptance or her beliefs.
She among many others is the victim of ideas today. Her among many other cases show that these ideals are still based today. Although they might not be used as blatantly as many others, they showcase how our perceptions can widely be distorted by simple statements.
