Place and Gender
In this article a group of people were asked to acknowledge the stereotypes that affect today's society. To many's surprise they discovered that people were fully aware of such discriminating factors such as race, gender, religion, etc. It starts by discussing the ideas that people have today of stereotypes and then applies the actual truth to them. Gender roles change our perceptions to what we are allowed socially accepted to do.
No matter what it is known that there differences between each group of people. After all we are all different. But should these differences define us as humans and to our restrictions?

  1. Because all people are different, the differences should define us as human but not to our restrictions. I don't think it's right for somebody to be limited on anything because of his or her gender and ethnic background. An example would be that women are paid less than men. In my view, a person should be rewarded appropriately to his or her actions, not to his or her gender nor background.
